Roald Dahl Storytelling Event

In honour of Roald Dahl Day on the 13th September, this week all of Year 7 enjoyed a workshop event with Andy Copps, a Roald Dahl storyteller, based on Dahl’s story ‘Billy and the Minpins’. A fantastic time was had by students and staff, with Andy really bringing the magic of the story to life. Miss O’Hagan – Curriculum Leader of English     Pupil Voice: “I enjoyed the Roald Dahl storytelling event of ‘Billy & the Minpins’ because I found it creative, interesting and imaginative. I also liked that it was funny and the audience had a chance to interact in the story and join in with the storytelling. I liked that the story wasn’t a scary story, unlike most stories, and it had a happy ending.” Sophia-Honeysuckle C, 7JW “The Roald Dahl storytelling event was very fun. Everyone got a chance to participate. The storyteller was telling us about ‘Billy and the Minpins’ and he acted it out very well and it was very enjoyable.” Erzsebet F, 7JW “The Roald Dahl storyteller was absolutely brilliant! He told the story of ‘Billy and the Minpins’ by Roald Dahl. It was a great story and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly.” Lily W, 7JW
