How to enrol for Year 12 September 2025
Current JOA students
GCSE results are available for collection on 21st August from 8:30-10:30am from the School Hall.
Following the collection of results, Year 11 students are invited to the Sixth Form common room to confirm their place and their subjects for their Sixth Form studies in person.
If you are not able to attend the enrolment in person, it is essential that you email Mrs Wilmot cwilmot@joa.herts.sch.uk before results day, so that you will be enrolled online by the end of that week.
Students who have not yet applied for our Sixth Form or who have not met the entry requirements are still invited to discuss their options with a member of staff on Results Day.
Mr Ritchie, our careers advisor, will also be available in the Sixth Form block should you wish to speak with him.
New JOA students
If you have been offered a place and fulfil the entry criteria, you will be emailed a time to complete your enrolment in person in the afternoon of 21st August.
You will need to bring with you your GCSE results, your passport and proof of address (eg parent’s utility bill).
For international students who have not taken GCSEs, we will need a statement of comparability please before we can proceed with your application. This can be obtained via the ENIC UK website enic.org.uk.
This certificate will also be needed at your enrolment appointment.
