Outcome of the Consultation for Admissions 2027/28

Following consultation, the Local Academy Council has agreed to remove the Certificate of Catholic Practice (CCP) from the school’s admissions oversubscription criteria.

In line with guidance from the Catholic Education Service and the Diocese of Westminster, where a Catholic school is able to meet local Catholic demand, priority is given to baptised Catholic children through the requirement for a Baptism certificate, and a Certificate of Catholic Practice is not required.

This change does not affect the Catholic mission, ethos, identify or character of the school. Baptised Catholic pupils will continue to be prioritised, and the school remains fully committed to Catholic education, worship, and pastoral care.

The decision reflects the Local Academy Council’s responsibility for the careful and prayerful stewardship of the school, ensuring it remains sustainable and well placed to serve its community in the long term.
