Student Leadership Team

Welcome from Head Boy & Girl

Lily - Head Girl
"When the opportunity arose for the role of head girl, I knew immediately it would be something I would love to do. Having the chance to give back to the amazing school community we have and to contribute to the greater life of the school, was something I couldn't refuse.

Throughout my time at St Joan of Arc, from year 7 to now, I have been faced with nothing but support, gratitude and care from my peers, friends and mentors. The teachers and staff at St Joan of Arc consistently go above and beyond without fail to make students feel supported, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. I feel incredibly proud to represent the school and I hope to be someone my peers can turn to - a voice for them, a listener, and a leader who uplifts others.

As somebody who was once quite shy and hesitant to share my voice, I never would have imagined I would have been brave enough to go for this role, but I am beyond proud of myself that I did. I am incredibly grateful for the trust that has been placed in me and strive to make this year as impactful and positive as I possibly can.

I have never seen a leadership committee quite like ours - with 29 members, it is the largest number to date at St Joan of Arc. This speaks volumes about how our school community has touched each and every one of us, and how so many of us are eager to give back to those who have supported us along our journey. Lorenzo and I are already proving to be a strong team, by combining our ideas and supporting one another, alongside the dedication of our leadership committees, I strongly believe we can make a meaningful and lasting contribution to the school community."

Lorenzo - Head Boy
"The Head Boy role is one which my younger self would’ve never imagined applying for, however I am deeply grateful to be able to represent our school and community.

Being a head student motivates me to do better and strive in my everyday life, I hope to instil that same motivation into the students at St Joan of arc.

I am intrigued to see the changes Lilly and myself can make in order to provide a better school environment for our fellow students."
