The school welcomes applications from parents and carers who wish their son or daughter to attend St Joan of Arc Catholic School.
The students of St Joan of Arc Catholic School are our greatest ambassadors and we are very proud of them. We therefore encourage all prospective students and their families to visit us so that you can meet our students and see this for yourself.
The school holds an open evening and open morning each October for Year 7 entry and in November for our Sixth Form. These events provide prospective students and their parents the opportunity to find out more about the school.
We welcome all enquiries. If you are unable to visit us on one of our Open Events we will arrange for a senior student to give you a personal tour of the school.
We invite all new students to an induction and orientation day in July in preparation for their admission in September. For the new Year 7 parents, there is an induction evening when you will meet your child’s form tutor and ask any questions you may still have about St Joan’s.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster has also produced guidance on applying for a Diocesan Catholic School. See the document 'Choosing a Catholic school'
If there are any queries regarding the application process, either email firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01923 587970 to speak with the Admissions Administrator.

Admissions 2022-2023 with Important SIF Information
The school is part of the Catholic Diocese of Westminster and it is the Governors’ intention that maintaining the distinctive Catholic ethos of the school will always be their top priority. As a Catholic school, we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our pupils. At a Catholic school, Catholic doctrine and practice permeate every aspect of the school’s activity. It is essential that the Catholic character of the school’s education be fully supported by all families in the school. All applicants are therefore expected to give their full, unreserved and positive support for the aims and ethos of the school.
Please see the full admissions policy and SIF Form below
IMPORTANT ADMISSION APPLICATION INFORMATION
Please be aware that the national deadline (31st October 2021) for returning the Supplementary Information Form (SIF), which must be returned directly to the school as part of the application process, falls within the half term holiday for St Joan's. This deadline date is set nationally and not one we have control over.
As a consequence, please be aware that the school will not be open to personally receive applications and give receipts during the half-term break from Friday 22nd October 2021 – Friday 29th October 2021 (provisional dates).
Therefore, if delivering by hand to the school, we urge all applicants to ensure that SIFs and supporting documents are completed and returned by
4.00pm on Thursday 21st October 2021 (provisional dates).
Please note that this date does not affect any applications being sent by post to the school during the half-term break.
Please note that if you are returning the forms by post please ensure that the correct postage is applied as the school does not accept underpaid mail.
