General Admission Policies

As St. Joan's is a Catholic Voluntary Academy where the Governors are the 'Admissions Authority', in addition to your Local Authority online form (usually know as the Common Application Form or CAF), ALL APPLICANTS MUST also complete St. Joan's own Supplementary Information Form (SIF) for this school.

Families who wish their child’s application to be considered under Criterion 2, ‘Children with a Certificate of Catholic Practice’, must provide a ‘Certificate of Catholic Practice’ (obtained from their Parish Priest) at the time of application.

All applications for Criteria 2 and 3 will be required to bring the child’s original Baptism Certificate to the school where a copy will be made and kept with the applicants SIF. This allows the governors to consider information which they will need to process your application fully.

The Admission Policy and Supplementary Information Form - SIF - may also be viewed as a PDF document by following the link at the end of the page.
